“ We were in New york for three days and we taked our 3 breakfast at Charlotte Cafe! Once to take away and the 2 other time, we stayed at the cafe. The employees were very sweet and kind. The coffees were perfect (real coffees!!) and the brioche with cheese, eggs and bacon delicious! Thanks for your smile! If we come back, we know where we’ll take all our futur breakfasts! ”
“ Charlotte is my favorite cafe in the whole city. I’ve been coming here for years, have done my grad school work here, brought dates here, met friends and family members for morning coffees and pastries. Everyone agrees this place is the absolute best. The coffee is delicious, the food is amazing (they have a seasonal pumpkin spice cheesecake that’s to die for). Best of all the baristas are the kindest people— they remember the regulars’ orders. One time they had my coffee prepped before I walked in because my friend who I was meeting told them I was on my way. The owner Vinz let my friend and I take our grad photos here (pic added below!) If you’re looking for a third space on the UWS to work or read or chat or just hang with a hot drink, Charlotte is the place. ”

Super convenient—right near all three subway lines—so it’s perfect if you need a pit stop to get some work done between trains. The vibe is cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating that works well for laptop life. Not the place for a gourmet snack though—the pistachio latte is fine, nothing to write home about, and the cookie’s pretty forgettable (and tiny). Service is average, but the overall setup makes it a solid go-to if you’re looking to knock out some emails or chill in a laid-back space. ”

The coffee was good and a decent price. Nice woman behind the counter. She was helpful with some questions o had. Nice place to chill for a bit. ”
